Project Description
The Bangkok – Hua Hin High-speed Rail Project is a 1.435-metre standard gauge track with capacity to serve a maximum speed of 250 kilometres per hour. There are both at-grade and elevated sections along the route spanning a total of 211 kilometres. The project is linked to Suvarnabhumi Airport, the Bangkok – Rayong High-speed Rail, the Bang Sue – Rangsit Red Line, and MRT Blue Line. It aims to help ease traveling between Bangkok and its vicinity. The project involves installation of track and equipment to meet the standard of a high-speed railway.
