The expected effects of this project are:
. Improve the availability rate of the park,
. Ensure the safety and comfort of metro rolling stock,
. Improve the quality of the service offered,
. Solve the problems of obsolescence of spare parts.
. Reduce operating costs by reducing the cost of maintenance and energy consumption (changing the traction chain from direct current to alternating current).
. Improve the safety of travelers,
The Siemens fleet consists of 134 cars:
. 77 cars commissioned in 1985;
. 43 cars commissioned in 1992;
. 14 cars commissioned in 1998.
