Project Description
This project consists of the leasing of areas for the construction and operation of two port terminals for the handling of liquid bulk in the Port of Santarém. These being: • STM 04 - Terminal of Liquid Bulk in the Port of Santarém/PA, brownfield area having 28.8 thousand m²; • STM 05 - Terminal of Liquid Bulk in the Port of Santarém/PA, brownfield area having 35.1 thousand m². At Terminal STM 05, there are 12 steel coated pressurized tanks - nine vertical and three horizontal. The diameter of the vertical tanks varies from 6 to 12 meters and the horizontal ones from 2.7 to 3.4 meters - with a length from 7.4 to 10 meters. The total storage is approximately 5,035 tons (5,923 m3), which should meet the demand of the next 25 years. In this case, only the replacement of the existing tanks is covered, in the amount of BRL 11 million. At the end of the period, the Terminal should have a minimum capacity to move 130 thousand tons per year. STM 04 public sale was held on March 23rd, 2017 with a grant value of BRL 18.2 million. The Porto Santarém Consortium (Petrobrás Distribuidora S.A and Petróleo Sabbá S.A) won the public sale held by ANTAQ [Waterways Transport National Agency]. STM 05 public sale, carried out on the same day, obtained a grant value of BRL 50.0 million and it was also acquired by the Porto Santarém Consortium.
