Project Description
Blantyre City is the largest commercial and industrial capital of Malawi and the administrative headquarters of the Southern Region. The City has a number of sites for amusement parks, places set aside for recreational purposes for residents and visitors and protection of fragile natural landscapes. In its quest to realize its vision, mission and objectives, Blantyre City Council wishes to develop amusement parks that will take their place among the existing parks in Malawi and the Southern African region. The Government of Malawi would like to engage a Private sector operator to maintain, rehabilitate, manage and operate pre-identified areas in the City of Blantyre as recreation Parks under a PPP arrangement.
