Working with both the public and private sectors, the GI Hub has created a global pipeline of projects designed around a set of standardised project stages and underlying information. The early stage information is designed to give the private sector the greater clarity it needs to properly assess opportunities and engage in a global infrastructure market.

As infrastructure projects move through the defined project stages, from inception to feasibility, procurement and then contractual completion, the relevant government body responsible for the project will input information and data into the Pipeline in prescribed data fields to ensure the market is kept informed and up to date.

A private sector endorsed standardised structure for recording project progress and information allows users to make assessments of which projects most interest them and, more importantly, of which projects they may seek to participate in. Users can search for projects within the Pipeline by multiple criteria and can also elect to follow projects which allow them to received updates as the project progresses. Users that would like more information about a project can contact the relevant government body via the contact information supplied in the Pipeline.
